GM-45126 is a heavy duty pliers used to remove and install the large internal retaining ring in the transmission case. The handles are 30 inches long to provide the leverage needed to compress this retaining ring for removal and reinstallation in the 6L50, 6L80 and 6L90 transmission. Used with GM-47773 Retaining Ring Pliers Adapters for the 6L80 and 6L90 transmission but not required for 6L50 service.
