GM-47829 is an extension used between previously Essential GM-02619-A Slide Hammer and other adapters, such as GM-45341 Wheel Drive Shaft Remover, to allow the wheel drive shaft to be removed from the axle. Often, the vehicle suspension and axle placement limit access to remove the wheel drive shafts, and unapproved methods are tried, resulting in component damage. GM-47829 provides improved access, allowing the specified tools to be used. GM-47829 can also be used in any service situation with limited access.
