| The rear
main seal is no longer supplied with an installation guide, and, due to the
crankshaft bevel, installation without a guide will result in leaks. GM-47839
bolts to the rear of the crankshaft and pilots the seal and housing into
position. Due to the crankshaft bevel, the Driver Handle can be installed onto GM-47839 to hold it in place or remove it from the engine. |
