The front crankshaft seal on SGE is installed on the cover to a specific depth. GM-51368 installs the seal at the design location by drawing it into position without impacting the cover or crankshaft. GM-51368 also installs the balancer. Unapproved methods may misalign or damage the seal or balancer.
