GM-50332-270 enables the GM-50332 Battery Service Tool to be electrically connected to the battery pack low-voltage connector on the RESS BDU in the Volt Gen2, Malibu Hybrid, and Cadillac CT6 Plug-In vehicles. This allows contractor controls and PID monitoring of the battery pack's internal conditions (e.g., temperature, rate of discharge, level of discharge) as the pack is depowered through the high-voltage connection between the BDU and the GM-50332 Battery Service Tool.
