The purpose of this kit is to adapt the parent tool GM-38826 to most legacy and current full size truck SIR in order to deploy the SIR in safely manner prior to disposing or transporting the SIR.
The kit contains two adapters:
- GM-38826-20 Adapter with Teflon covered barrel terminals to connect with round terminals on the bag.
- GM-38826-202 Adapter with alligator clips to connect with the blade style terminals.
Both adapters can deploy either a single charge or dual charge SIR. Please insure that all SIR charges are deployed prior to disposing of airbags.
