GM-50332-280 is software programming that is used to update the GM-50332 Battery Service Tool.
The update can be loaded into the GM-50332 from either the USB Drive or downloaded from the GM DES website. This software updates the GM-50332 Battery Service Tool parameters, functions and user menu displays to support Malibu Hybrid vehicles. The software enables dealers to perform several service procedures and monitor electrical charge and discharge status on the RESS battery pack related to full pack energy discharging for safety precautions and cell section load leveling, which allows dealers to service various sections of the battery and avoid replacement of the entire battery pack.
