The GM-48264-100 Adapters are used in conjunction with the GM-48264-A Battery Pack Lifting Adapter to enable the removal of individual battery modules from the Bolt EV High-Voltage Battery Tray. This avoids replacement of the entire battery pack if a module can repair the vehicle. The adapters are used with the previously essential GM-48264-A Battery Pack Lifting Adapter and an engine floor crane or chain hoist. Two of the three adapters slide into the ends of the GM-48264-A Lifting Adapter and hook into the battery module brackets at each end. These end adapters are locked into the fixture bar with ball detent clevis pins. The third adapter slides to the middle of the fixture bar, providing support at the center of the battery module.
