The output shaft flange oil slinger is serviced separately from the flange itself and is press-fit over the flange sealing surface. The flange must be turned upside-down on a press bed, and GM-48077 is used with the press ram to seat the slinger into position. A press must be used to ensure the slinger is fully seated.
