An excluder seal has been added to the right output shaft on AWD global Epsilon vehicles with the Graziano PTU, and AWD Theta-Epsilon vehicles with the AAM PTU. This seal covers the sealed output shaft bearing and prevents water or dirt from contaminating the bearing. The seal is installed over the output shaft and into the bore of the housing. GM-50768 installs the seal into the correct position. GM-50768 is used with the GM-42183 Driver Handle to seat the seal. Unapproved methods may damage the seal.
