Used to remove and install the rear output shaft bearing without removing and disassembling the transfer case. Once the driveshaft is removed, the tool is expanded into the bushing, and its forcing screw is tightened against the output shaft to remove the bushing. To install the new bushing, the bushing is placed onto the tool, which is then tightened to hold it in place. The forcing screw is removed from the tool, which is driven with a mallet to seat the bushing into place
