GM-48070 installs the sprag seal in the 6L50 transmission without damaging the seal or causing the seal lip to roll. It is impossible to visually inspect the perimeter of the seal lip once the seal is installed. Using GM-48070 guarantees the seal is installed correctly for leak-free operation.
