GM-51619 installs the side bearing onto the differential case trunnion. The side bearings on the 190 mm ring gear front Dana axle are of different sizes, but both are installed until they are seated on the trunnion of the differential case. GM-51619 pilots into the case, guiding the larger side bearing into position as it is sitting.
GM-51619 is used with the GM-8092 Driver Handle to seat the bearing.
