Description

The rear output shaft oil diverter has two seals that need to be sized prior to installation. These seals are POA to the diverter and not serviced separately. Any time the diverter is removed or replaced, the seals must be resized immediately prior to installation. GM-50978 is tapered on both ends, allowing the technician to size the seal from either end. Failure to size the seals with GM-50978 will result in seal damage, leaking, or premature failure.
