The GM-51076-10 adapter set is used in conjunction with the GM-51076 Bearing and Gear Installer to install the rear mainshaft cone bearing, mainshaft rear support roller bearing inner race, countershaft rear bearing cone, and 5th, 6th, 7th, and Reverse driven gears. Using the double-ended thread adapter allows using GM-51076 and GM-51076-10 components on both the output shaft and the counter shaft to install various components. Due to the required assembly sequence and over-all length of the shaft assemblies, The TR6070 cannot be assembled in a press.
