GM-50910 is a set of three tools that correctly install and compress the turbine shaft to the stator shaft, utilizing four solid Teflon seals. GM-50910-3 is a 9" long, 1.5" OD smooth tube with an adjustable depth stop-rod that covers the shaft and protects the four seals from damage as they slide down the turbine shaft. GM-50910-2 has expandable fingers that snugly fit the protector and evenly push the seals down the protector into their respective grooves on the turbine shaft without over-expanding the seals. GM-50910-1 has a tapered ID that gradually compresses the seals to the correct OD, allowing them to slide inside the center support without being nicked or cut.
