The GM-50442 Ball Joint Installer is used in conjunction with the GM-50444 Bearing Installer to install the shaft end dust cover at the drive shaft center bearing. The dust cover is placed onto GM-50442, and then GM-50444 is installed on the opposite end of GM-50442, and used with a hammer or mallet to seat the dust cover.
